Actually, I understand key-banging. I have a somewhat heavy touch because of my musical keyboard background, so at the office they often commented on my being a "banger" when I started typing.

as a jazz band group at Central College in Pella, IA, we once were given an "educational" session by the professional jazz band "NIU jazz ensemble" from Indiana and the trumpet player told me to make sure I slammed those valves down hard whenever playing fast passages. so maybe i'm a banger too?

but what about pool/billards players? according to Paul Newman in The Color of Money, "9 ball is for bangers".
