I am stuck trying to create an invoice....
It us my understanding that an invoice can be created using a form, but I am getting nowhere.

I do not have any trouble creating a customer list, product list, etc. But those are fairly easy. I need to create a report that will list the customers info, order info with product id and description etc.

Any suggestions or tips? I am going to pull my hair out!

Since presumably you'll be printing it out, I'd create a report rather than a form. Don't know your table structure, but presuming a one-to-many order to order details situation, you'd have the report be the order and have a subreport for the details. You'd have the source query join in customer or product tables to get additional info as required.

Check out the Northwind.mdb sample that comes with your Access installation. There is an invoice (report) there that can give you ideas.

I have Access 2003, the northwind is 2007.

No, Northwind ships with each version of Access. Check out your installation at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Samples

Ok, I got the sample database open. With this and the info from pbaldy hopefully I can get it. You will know if I don't.

Thanks for the help!
