iam really stuck here and would be grateful for any help. Basically i am in the early stages of writing a Multiuser database that will reside on a Network. I am planning to host the database on an existing win 2k server. My initial thought is to use MSDE as there will be about 8 users at any one time accessing data. What i am asking is how can i setup msde on the server so that when the user logon to the server using there NT logon script, it also enables them to login to the msde database. I am on the write path or should i be doing something else ( i am open to any suggestions for creating a multiuser database on a server), i have not used SQL server and would rather use msde as it is free with ACCESS 2 K. Any advise at this early design stage would be greatly received. Is there anywhere i can get information on MSDE to get me started?.
