HELP! Need to combine queries

We have a query with two columns. We wish to combine the second column records when the first column records are the same.

ex
from:
1, dog
1, cat
2, horse

to:
1, dog cat
2, horse

Does anyone know how to obtain the result above?

If this is a query, it might be easier to do it from the underlying tables.

Or it can be accomplished in VBA.

There may be a way to do it with query but my brain is totally fried.

Let us know a little more detail. (or perhaps someone whose brain is working properly might give you a better answer!
