hello all,
So i have been tasked once again to build a database for my job. One of the problems im facing is that i want to be able to lock away data that can be altered by only a few users. but due to the very fluid job, those users may change quickly and require more maintaining in relation to the database. so my thought was,"well why not just build a button to open a dialog box, enter a password, and if its true, populate a seconday home screen for use. however, as easy as it is to say, i forgot completely how to accomplish that task..

any help would be great

What version of Access are you/they using?

im using access 2007, but i actually figured it out. now i have a new irritance. basically what i want to do is query a query, and have that data show which agents have been entered into a form, and then display how many times each agent has been entered.. does that make sense?
