Good day!

Something weird is happening to my access (2007) when I opened it today

the query tables won't show up on macro builder

but when i click on a table it shows up normally

this happens when I use macro builder

but query tables show up on query builder

i tried restarting my pc / renamed the file / copied the file to a new location = same thing happens

:banghead::confused:

Hmm - not really know what you are writing about.
Could you post a print screen from where you expect it should show up?

here's a screenshot

Try holding down the Shift-key when you open the database!

same thing...

the query seems to just flicker and then disappears quickly

some query table would show up but the fields are missing

Could you post the database with some sample data?

I can not remember having seen such behavior before.
But if you open the query first, the field list would show.

thank you for taking time on this

No not really - only open the problem queries.

actually i opened your DB and on my Access is looking everything just normal. If it was the problem of course..

I checked other queries too.. It shows just normal.

My Access version is 2007-2010

same thing...

maybe I just have to start over again

thanks!

Have you tried importing the objects into a New Blank database?

To have something work for a while (like, YEARS - because it is 2016 and you are still on Ac2007) and then have it fail begs this question: What happened?

Check your update history to see if dear old Microsoft updated some program library or changed a security setting. Odds are that as old as Ac2007 is, you didn't get a .DLL update for it with an Office patch - but check the update history for Office 2007 patches.

Next question: Did you or anyone else install anything on the machine the day before you started with this oddball behavior?

Next question: Do you still have the Office 2007 kit? Because if so, there is a "Install/Repair" option that would have it look for damaged files and fix them.

Next question: Does any part of your code ever look at database object ownership and maybe dink around with it?

Next question: Check the properties (use database analyzer) to get ALL properties of ALL queries to see if any of them have oddball properties. Particularly something early in the query list alphabetically.
