here's a riddle..where'd the Detail go?

I have a form where in design view you can see the header, detail and footer. Then in the form view, the detail section is gone. The header and footer are there but the detail section doesn't show. Here's the thing, this was working last week and somehow it has decided to change. Anyone have a clue as to what has happened? My other forms are working correctly. I've compared the properties of this form with the others and don't see any differences. What's causing the detail section to not show? Thanks in advance.

Is there data to display? If so then make a quick form using the same Record Source as the 'bad' form and use just a few fields to see if new form works.

Yes there is data to display. In fact, at the bottom with the navigator buttons, it says 1 of 18 etc. and if I hit my "email" button I created, it emails it to the person on the form (in the detail section ) even though I can't see that information.

In the properties field under the 'Visible' field is it set to 'Yes'?

Yes in the properties for the Detail section, the visible property is set to "yes".

It seems to have done this on it's "own"...although everyone familiar with computers knows that can't be the case.

Any other ideas? Thanks..

What happened with a quick new form with limited data?

I created the new form based off the same query as the "puzzled" form and it works fine. All the records are displayed as they should be in the detail section. I really don't want to recreate the whole form since I have all the command buttons at the bottom that would have to be re-done. it's looking like that is the direction I am heading though. Anything else I can try? thanks!

Looks like your original form is corrupt. You will have to redo your form. Sorry....
