I am working on an old database, which was given to my command. There are several hidden macros in the database. How can I unhide these macros?

From the Tools menu item choose Options then on the View tab check the boxes to show hidden and system objects.

I am sorry I neglected to mention that the menu bar at the top is pretty much also missing. The only menu drop downs are File,Window & Help

Try this? Open plain-vanilla Access, get all you toolbars set the way you want, then hold down the shift key when you open the database, to bypass all the startup processing. Then you should be able to get to the View tab.

Also, I built myself a macro to set up Access just the way I like it (could be VBA code, too). It's stored in an Access database that I set up just to contain handy stuff like this. When I have to work on something new, it's easy to import this, run it, and there I go...
