(sorry, not sure which post to submit to)
- the Table 'Jobcard' has a (text)field named PLACE.
- on the Form 'Jobcard', the user enters any! description into the PLACE field.
- many 'Jobcards' can have the same PLACE; so the Table records many 'duplicates' of the PLACE Field, as it should. this is OK.
- on another Form i have a comboBox to run a Report(based on a Query)
- this comboBox gets it's list from the PLACE Field in the 'Jobcard' Table.
- therefor the list will show 'duplicates'
how do i tell the Table? or cboBox? or Query(for Report)? to HIDE the 'duplicate' text in the cboBox...
!(EXCEPT FOR THE 1ST text entry for which there are 'duplicates')!
i hope you know what i mean.
any advice PLEASE!
thanks.
Piet.
