Hi all
I have Access 2007, is it possible to hide macro buttons when printing the report, currently when I print it prints the buttons as well?

When you say printing the report do you mean it is printing a Form? as you shouldn't have any buttons on an Access Report.

If you can let me know the object name you are printing then I should be able to help you.

Select the button in design view, in the format tab, Display When and select Screen only.

My problem is similar. I have done as mahenkj2 suggested and selected "Screen Only" for the Print Button, but its outline still prints on the report (I also have "Screen Only" on some other items & buttons - those don't print; only the Print Button).

Any suggestions??

Thanks

The solution suggested by mahenkj2 is the way to achieve this. Possibly the reason you are seeing an outline of the 'Print' button is because it last had the focus.

HOWEVER, as Trevor G asked, why do you have buttons on a report? Access basics 101; Tables store your data, Forms allow you to record data, Reports show you what is stored. If you are printing a 'form' as a report you just need to replicate the appearance as a report (without the buttons) and print the report FROM the form.
