Hmmmmm that's odd. I have the same code on a runtime and it works great. I could take a look at your DB as it may be some other rogue coding. Search key wouldn't be related I think.
Hello Nigel, I saw this thread regarding hiding the MS Access application window: I currently use the same method, i.e. call the Win32 ShowWindow to minimize the access widow to the task bar. However, I see you've been able to go one step further and reduce it to the system tray... that's fantastic! I have considered an alternate Win32 call to move the window off-screen, but have not actually tried it so I can't say if it will work or or what effect it might have if it does work. I would love to try your modification to move it to the system tray if you would share that with me?
