Hide the footer?

I'm not a big fan of the appearance of subforms, but I've had to resort to using one in my main form.

Is there a way to hide the footer of the subform to make it all look a little prettier?

Isn't it just a case of setting visible to no in the properties of the subform footer?

sorry to bring up and old thread - the solution is simply to either click n drag it away, or right click the bar separating the details/footer section and deselecting the header/footer option. if you want the header, do it the first way i described.
