Highlighting fields that are null with a different color?

Ok, I have three dates. I want it so that after I put a date in the first date box (No Show Date) the second date box (kept Date) turns yellow until it is filled in with a date at a later time. As soon as a date is entered into the second date bow, I want it to automatically return to the origional white color. Also, 5 days prior to the third date (Due Date) (which is automatically filled in as 30 days from the first date) I want the second date box to change from yellow to red, or runtil replaced to the origional white color if a date is placed in it.

Below is my database, the query that the form runs off of is the No Show Query. This is what users will see.
