How-attach external files to database??

I would like to create a database of Word/ Excel/ etc files. Would like advice on the best way to store file name and a routine to print the content of those external files from access.

Any advice?

For Word and Excel files I use a special wizard "Word With Access" and "Excel with Access" from www.unsoftwareag.com. They are very easy to integrate, fast and do not bloat the tables!
