Using Access 2007, I wanted to rename my FE/BE mdb files after some major modifcations. When I opened the FE.mdb, naturally could not find the BE.mdb linked tables. I tried to relink tables in the renamed BE but that did not work so I returned FE/BE to original names. Now, several of the BE linked tables and some queries in the FE are not readable (no read definition permission) and cannot be deleted (must have Modify Design permission / Delete Data permission). When I view All Access Objects in Navigation Pane, these tables and queries are "grayed out" like MSysObjects, etc.
Is there a way to restore permissions to these tables/queries or am I hurt too badly? Naturally, I did not back up the mdbs before attempting this stunt. . .
