How do I get the total to stay with the last record?

In my report footer, I have a field that totals all funding fields in the records on the report. How can I stop the Total from appearing on its own page? This happens when the last record comes close to the bottom of the page and the total gets pushed to the next page.

It looks kind of funny when you run a report and the final total is on a page all by itself.

That would be a little unconventional but effective nevertheless. Thanks

If anyone else knows of another way I would be open to suggestions.

Change the print page setup. Goto the file pull down menu. Select page setup, and change the top or bottom page spacing. They should both be reading 1" change the top and/or bottom to .50" this should solve your problem. Another way to solve your problem but I don't think it would be to your liking is that if you have several groups in your report you can select the sorting and grouping button on top of the design view menu bar, select one of the gorups and on the bottom of the box you will see keep together change that prop. to yes. This will push the full last field to the next page. OR you can check you report in design view and see if you can shrink the sizes of one or more of your groups this will open some room on the report page. I think you will find the first one better. Best of luck.
