I am trying to run a crosstab query between dates by using a Calendar control.

It keeps giving me this error message:
The Microsoft Jet database engine does not recognise [forms]![form1]![script_date] as a valid field name or expression.

Obviously the field name script_date exists and the form is also open when trying to run the query...it also runs ok on a select query.

thanks

Thanks for taking the time to reply but I've already tried this - still won't work.

Did you find an answer. I am also having the same problem. I am running Access 2000 in my m/c.

Does anyone have an answer to this. In access 2000 there appears to be no way to filter a crosstab query by using the value in the field of a seperate form.

keep getting the error:

"The microsoft Jet engine does not recognize '[Forms]![frmSwitchboard]![txtStartDate]' as a valid field name or expression"

Yet if I convert the query to a standard select query, it works fine.

There are quite a few postings on this subject but i can't find any with an answer that works.

Sametch:(
