Look up "specifications" in Help for the info related to your version of Access.

You can find out for yourself using the access help as pbaldy said. The help for 2003 says:

Microsoft Access database (.mdb) file size 2 gigabytes minus the space needed for system objects

Lots more info in there if you just look!

Instructions on how to use the HELP file:

1. Open a database

2. Click F1 to open the help file.

3. In the search type: "Access Specifications"

4. Click on the Access Specifications link that shows up.

5. Read the information

C'mon let's do some work for ourselves instead of having to have everything spoonfed.
