You have to get to know your DBA and talk to him. He should be able to help you. Mine is sometimes quite difficult, but keen on security. Yours seems not to bother. there are several levels of security in SQL-Server possible. including user authentification (2 step with our company), user groups (ADS?) and database roles. I close up my SQL-Server databases and only allow users to see, what they should. i test this with a dummy user.1- No I'm not the DBA. And I don't even know who is. Someone from IT I suppose.
