my tab control contains several pages and each page contains several

controls. i set each control it's control source. but i couldn't find the

record source in the Tab Control Page Property. because of that problem i

couldn't see any records displaying in it's controls.

Answer for this problem is greatly appriciated....!

i do not believe that you can set the recordsource of a tab. you should create a form and place it on the tab... within that you can set the record source.

You can put subforms on a tab, but a tab in and of itself does not have a recordsource. It cannot display records itself. It is a control that houses other controls.

As Bob said, tabbed pages don't have individual Record Sources; the Record Source for the form is the Record Source for all tabbed pages, unless you've set up subforms on the tabbed pages! Tabbed pages are simply extensions of your form itself. They make it easier to design data entry forms without having a bunch of controls jammed together in too little space, and allow you to logically group your controls. You say you set the Control Source for the various controls. I assume this was done in the controls' property boxes, and since Access will only show you Control Sources from the underlying table/query, you should be set to go. If nothing is showing up, perhaps the Data Entry Property for the form itself is set to Yes. This would result in a "blank" form being displayed. Check, and if it is set to Yes, change it to No.
