How to calculate the total amt from different form?

Hi, i'm a newbie using this forum plus microsoft access. therefore i relly need help from u guys.

Here is my problem, I would like to find out how do i calculate the total amount which the amt are from different forms? i also need to display it out.

For example, now i have 3 forms namely asset, stock and loan. the final amount must display in stock form. i need to get the quantity from asset, - quantity in loan and display it in stock. How can i do that?

Have you thought of using the DLOOKUP function? Perahps pointing this at an appropriately designed (sum) query will give you what you need.

i have no idea where to start..

as this is my first time using access,therefore i don't get what you mean. apologise for that. would you mind giving more detail on that?

Forms don't hold data, they display it. You will proably need to base your stock form on the underlying data, perhaps in a query based on your asset and loan tables. I can't give more specific advice without knowing how your database is set up.
