How to create DB which requirs unique activation code

Hi,

Does anyone know of a sample database or coding on how to make it that on the first startup of a database on a different pc it requires a activation code which the developer would have to give them?

Ideally a different activation code each time. e.g. if they give me a code which pops up then i give the activation code?

Don't bother with activation codes and security like that. Trust your customer. They'll appreciate it.

I sell my services, which is to write database systems, but I put no restrictions on my customers' use of the code. I tell them they own it and are free to do with it whatever they want.

I lose more to obscurity than to piracy.
