Hi Gurus,
I have just entered into this very useful form. This is my first post. above all I have developed my first ever DB in Access. now I want to give a Logon Form to that DB. This form should appear when an user opens the DB asking for User name and password.
Can anybody help in design process. Please do not get bugged up if its a repeated question. As I have started using this form only from today, I did not have time to go through the previous postings.

Thanks,
Waiting for a quick reply.

Hi & welcome,

i created a login form a little while ago with the help of this forum and it works great. lookup my posts ( click on my name and go to statistics to select my posts ).

i added an option in my db for the user to turn this option off if they didnt want it as sometimes, there is only 1 person user and it could get quite annoying. you still have to enter a username & password to turn it off so its not easily switched off. my autoexec checks the value hidden somewhere. True = login and False = open without login.

i'll did it out if you struggle as i placed a text match ( checks your text case i.e. nigel - Nigel ) again, thanks to this forum
