Hello,

I don't even know if this is even possible or not. I have a create query button and a listing of all the quiries and what I want to do is somehow have the new query list in the available queries list so that it can be selected and altered. I'm not really sure on how to do this or if it's even possible.

Any ideas?
Thank you.

Access 2007 can have actually more queries than what show up in the Navigation Pane. I find myself fiddling with pressing F5 (hoping that is Refresh in this case) or closing / opening the Queries section as I keep my navigation pane showing all types of objects, which Access sorts that view by object type. Eventually the querydef does show up.

yes - you can save a query with a new name (try docmd.copyobject, or docmd.transferdatabase).

you can open a query in designmode - something like

docmd.openquery qryname, acdesign
