how to lock all controls in the form at once

I was meaning 'lock all controls with your loop'. Do not test for the one in the loop that you do not want locked (txtCardFind?)
When loop is completed, then specifically unlock that single control.

When I read his full requirements, I realised there was no need to loop through the controls at all. It can mostly be done in the form design.

Having said that when I looked at the form (see other thread) there were things I would probably do differently myself. For example, disable controls rather than lock them
