My Brain is playing games with Me Doc. Not even allowing me to enjoy reading a book. Always remembering an useless pending task as a priority No:1

How to not touch it?​

Well, my mom always told me I could go blind, I said can't I touch it until I need glasses?

I do not see emails on my phone.
I do not do any so called social media, Facebook, X, or whatever.
I don't do apps, or QR codes, or banking, or buy anything with my phone.
I use a phone to call people and the occasional text.
I've stopped looking at the news and newspapers on the PC. Hugely pointless and timewasting with the frequently changing column titles and AI reporting.
You can stand anywhere these days and all around you are people just entranced by their phones. I can't decide if they are institutionalised, controlled, addicted, or just sad.

There was a time, not that long ago, when there was just one phone per family........and it wasn't a problem.
