How to Number the results of me query in it's report

I am not sure if I do it in the query or the report. Basically what I want is this.

I have a report that gets data from a query. I wish the report to number the results like below.


1. First Record
2. Second Record
3. Third Record

How can I do this?

=1

and a running sum property set to "over all"
