How to query field which begins with wild card?

Does anyone know how to query a field which begins with a wild card character "*". Cant seem to get it using Like.

in a text box on a form, user fills in the word, and opens the query...

the query looks like:
select * from table where [field] like '*' & forms!myForm!txtBox

I need it in a query. Only begins with *

 

[CJ_London]

use square brackets

like '
[*]*'

will find all values that start with *
