I have an Access 2000 database holding details of a very large number of MP3s, WMVs and FLVs.
The field in the Table holding the filename and path of the relevant media file is a hyperlink field. I can click on the filename and the media file opens in the default media player.
Unfortunately, when I click on a media file in this way Microsoft Office 2000 throws up a irritating warning message requiring me to confirm I agree before the media file is allowed to play.
Later versions of Office allow you to make changes in the Registry to stop this behaviour but I have found no way of stopping it in Office 2000. I do not want to upgrade.
Is there ANY way of stopping Office 2000 throwing up this message, (or automatically closing it immediately) thus allowing the media file to play immediately?
