How undo changes in formdesign?

How undo changes in formdesign. For example when I have moved boxes around and I change my mind. How can I undo this change and go back to the design I had before that change.

If you haven't saved the form, just close it and tell it not to save changes (all changes made since the last save will be reverted).

If you have a backup copy of the database from before the changes, you could import the form from that, using the external data wizard.

If you've saved the form, and don't have a backup copy, there is no way to undo, except by moving things back manually to where you think they should be.

Thanks for your advice. So if I had made many changes without saving I cannot go one step back and undo the last change like in a wordprocessor. I have to go back to my last saved version. Is that right?

you CAN undo the last change only

just click the undo icon


its easy to move things by accident - or you dont like it after youve done it - or it goes wrong

eg you select a few controls, click align left, and it doesnt work properly because theres a slight overlap
undo cancels those changes. But move something else, and its too late.

Thanks! I hadn´t put in the undoicon in the quick startmenu. Basics which I shouldn´t do, but did. Big mistake!
