Hi There,

I've been dabbling in Access since version 2.0 and I absolutely love the program for it's versatility and ability to automate small business tasks. My current company has a very archaic process of hand editing 1100 engagement letters in MS Word. Due to legal jargon, variance in client services, etc; no one had been able to successfully create a mail merge that worked. I have vba experience but it's been a hot minute since I have written code. I have my base db setup and via a maintained spreadsheet that is coded to what services the client needs, I have created a dashboard that allows admins to print letters based on partner with the click of a button.

I am cleaning it up and adding new things such as hyperlinks to open bid letters on our network, saving the letters as a pdf and customized dashboards for each partner based on their clients, billing, etc.

It's going slow since I am re-learning after 10 years and although it's been super fun and creative, it's also reminded me why I never went full nerd and got deeper into vba than I have, lol. I will be leaning on the community to help guide me with questions. Nothing but admiration for all the programmers here!
