hwo to write into a word template file from access

I want to know if i can access a word template file and add respective field values from MS - Access form. If so how?

Are you trying to output contents from an Access database into a word file?

It sounds like a Mail Merge. This is possible, Microsoft help will give detailed instructions but if this isn't the case come back to us.

In Access 2007, go to External Data then MS Word. It should be under similar headings in previous versions of Access.

What version of Access are you using?

i have a template file and i want to load few fields in that template file with the data from a recordset or however possible. Any code samples to do the job mentioned. Jus to add on i am using Access 2000 cause of some requirement.
