I have an application which basically converts an access report to pdf. This works fine...the problem is I have a field which is a hyperlink and I have the IsHyperlink property marked off. Even with this when the ouput goes to pdf file I cannot click the link ... it doesnt recognize it as a hyperlink. Its blue and underlined but you cannot click on the link in adobe and goto the file.

I read in access help about hyperlinks and came across this:

When you create a hyperlink by using any of the following methods, Microsoft Access creates a label control on the form or report. Although hyperlinks in a report won't work when viewed in Microsoft Access, the hyperlinks will work when you output the report to Microsoft Word, to Microsoft Excel, or to HTML.

So what does this mean, that I cant have hyperlinks in Adobe? That's ridiculious if you ask me...

Does the hyperlink work when you save the report to Word or Excel? You may check the link at Export Report To HTML With Live Hyperlink Enabled out.

I think if you can have the hyperlink work out in the Word format, then you can convert to the PDF with live hyperlink as well.

If not, you may adopt my suggestion from the link by saving the report to HTML first, then open the Acrobat and go to File menu>Open Web Page>direct URL to your local folder where the HTML files stored. This method should work out alright for you.

HTH.
