Hyperlinks !! URGENT !!

HEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLPPP !!!

I have a field in a table containing absolute hyperlink references to files on our server. I have just installed a new server with a different name so the hyperlinks point to the wrong place. I have about ten thousand links. Is there a way i can do a mass chang on the links?

The hyperlink is just text. Surely an update query with a bit of string chopping will do the trick. The old server name is a fixed length string as is the new one, so it's pretty straight forward.

If you've changed directory names and or directory structure, then you're in for a lot of typing!

Thanks for the help, i figured it would just be easier to change the name of the new server to the name of the old one. this has worked a treat
