I'm finding this very difficult to word, so I apologize in advance for any confusion. I have a Report that is working "almost" perfectly, but this one problem is really annoying/frustrating me (and the fact that I don't know doodly-squat about Access 2007 isn't helping any lol).

Basically it's a list of several states, and the equipment located in each state.

For example:

I have a Group Header called "Vermont".

"Vermont" has 60 records in it.

On the report I want to print, I want to see "Vermont" and as many of the records as possible on the same page. If there are too many records for that 1 page, then I want "Vermont" to appear on the next page, and the remaining records to print there as well (even if it's just 1 record).

Now I also have a Group Header called "Ohio". It also has 60 records...

If "Vermont" filled all of page 1, and part of page 2, I want "Ohio" to begin on page 3. And therein lies the problems...

Problem 1 - "Vermont" is filling page 1 (Vermont appears and so do the records). The remaining records show up on page 2, but "Vermont" doesn't appear on page 2 (only the records do).

Problem 2 - "Ohio" will begin on page 2 (Ohio and its records appear a couple lines below Vermont's records).

I need Vermont (and its records) to appear on as many pages as it takes for Vermont's records to be listed.

Then I need Ohio to appear on its own page and do the same thing for as many pages as needed.

I'm hoping that someone will be able to tell me exactly what it is I need to click on, what setting to change or configure, etc..

I've been trying to google this for so long... and doing trial-and-error for so long... nothing seems to work... I'm convinced the answer is right here in front of me but I just can't see it.

Hopefully i've explained the problem well and not confused anyone (it's already confusing enough as it is). Does anyone know what i'm trying to say/do? And can you tell me how to go about doing it?

I think you can turn on force new page in the grouping section that will do that. I haven't tested it though.

I figured pics might help to explain better, so I made a representation in word to better illustrate what i'm talking about...

Just make sure your group has a footer (you can size it so nothing is there) and do what Ray suggested. Set the footer's FORCE NEW PAGE to AFTER SECTION.

Also, to have the Group Headers appear on each page, set the REPEAT SECTION property of that header to YES.

YEEHAAAW! That's the trick right there alright!! I think I may have actually started doing it right one time, but I never saw the change take affect while in Design View so I figured I was on the wrong track. However this time I did see the difference and from there on it went smoothly :)

BIG GIANT THANKS TO RAY AND BOB LARSON! YOUR TIME AND HELP ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
