I need help!!

Hi folks

I have been using access for about 10 years and have muddled my way through using wizards and web sites.
I am currently building a DB for my Partners business and for the first time am involving the financial aspect of the business. EEEK! Im getting stuck a lot and could do with an expert.

I am building an expression and i need the two fields, [Rate1] and [Rate2] to show as currency. i seem to be adding the ccr in the wrong place.

Engineers: "Engineers" & " - " & [TblLabourLink].[HoursatRate1] & "Hrs " & " at " & [tblLabourLink].[Rate1] 7 " Plus" & "" & [tblLabourLink].[HoursatRate2] & " Hrs" & " at " & [tblLabourLink][Rate2]

Not sure if this is an intelligent question or a dumb one

format([tblLabourLink].[Rate1],"currency")
