IIF Statement

Happy New Year!!!

I am having a problem completing a IIF Statement I have field name "Provider status" that has drop down with multiple options. "Hospitalist", "Specialist", "Hospital Based Providers", "PCP" etc...

I am developing a query with the data requested but instead of listing the value of the field "Specialist" or "Providers" or "PCP" etc...they want if it is Hospitalist or Hospital Based Providers then Yes and if not No.

The IIF statement that I wrote is giving me Y and N in the field I guess because is reading both statements.

What did I do wrong??? what am I missing???

IIf([X_EmpireBCBS]![Provider Status]="Hospitalist","Y", & IIf([X_EmpireBCBS]![Provider Status]="Hospital Based Providers","Y","N"))

You could try this:
IIf([X_EmpireBCBS]![Provider Status]="Hospitalist" OR [X_EmpireBCBS]![Provider Status]="Hospital Based Providers","Y","N")

There is another way in X_EmpireBCBS at add field called Provider Type and this would have "H" for Hospitalist or Hospital Based Provider

So IIf([X_EmpireBCBS]![Provider Type]="H" ... )
