Import and Autonumber field (1 Viewer)

I want to import datas from an excel file. In this file there is a column with unique numbers. I want to import this column in an autonumber field but it doesn't work because access don't want to import in an autonumber field. And if i try to import in a number field, i can't change it after to an autonumber

So anybody has a trick to have those numbers in an autonumber field ?

Access WILL allow you to APPEND rows with values for the autonumber field. So link to the spreadsheet or import it into a temp table. Then run an append query that selects rows from the spreadsheet and appends them to the new table.
