Importing an Excel Zip File

I have received a zip file in Excel with 85,000 entries and when I open the file it exceeds MS Excel's capacity. I have tried importing the zip file into access by using a macro but I keep getting a message '...cannot open the file, it is already open by another user ....'

If I unzip the file I cannot see the records beyond 65536.

Any suggestions?

I have resolved the issue by importing the file from inside the zip folder as a csv file.
