I have an Access database stored on our LAN. This database connects to a mainframe database and has several some count queries. I have an Excel Spreadsheet in the same folder on our LAN. I imported the data from my Access queries and set it up to refresh the data on file open. This worked fine for a few weeks and the data refreshed when I opened the file. However, I recently noticed that the data was not correct. I checked the Excel Spreadsheet against the Access queries it is based on and the spreadsheet is not updating. I am getting the prompt on file open to refresh the data. I tried manually refreshing the data. I checked the Excel query to make sure they were correct. I verified the files were still there and the names of the Access queries had not changed. I am using full path in the queries, not f:\ . I am not getting any error messages. The data is simply not refreshing.
