importing data to tables with combo boxes

I can import data to a table with no problems from excel if there is no relationships to the table. The thing is I want one of the tables for Site Location to be changeable from a form to reflect transfer of a piece of equipment to another site . If I use the lookup wizard an make the field changable from a combo box then I can no longer import data from exel because of the relationship between the combo box and the field. Does anybody have a solution to this? Basicly I still want to be able to import Exel Data to fill the table and the Location Field and still have it selectable by combo box for changes once imported

I would strongly recommend that you use tables to store your data, and forms to "change" your data.

Thus, you can avoid all the complications caused by the use of the lookup wizard in the table design.

The Combo box wizard on a form will enable you to construct your combo boxes on your form if you are unable to construct them manually.
