Question Importing Photos?

Hello all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to take a picture with the camera on a tablet device from within access and have them show on the screen?

Are you asking about taking a picture with the camera while the tablet is connected via a USB cable to a PC running Access? If yes then you probably can use Windows Image Acquisition (WIA).

I have used WIA to take pictures with a USB Web Camera.

Hello,

We are using access on the tablet whilst out on site. We would like to be able to insert the pictures as we take them.

Do you know if this can be done?

If the tablet is running Windows (not RT) ? Is yes, then you still should be able to use WIA.

I have not worked with Windows RT so I do not know if WIA is available on the OS.
