Importing spreadsheet different name each time

Hi I am having a similar problem to another poster who seems to have received the answer but it was email to him so don't know what it is !!

I need to create a macro to import a spreadsheet on a weekly basis, prob is the spreadsheet needs to be saved with a different name each time, but the macro requires a file name, how can I get the macro to ask for a file name? or is this possible

Use a procedure and DOCMD to run the same spreadsheet transfer. You can ask for the filename on a form and use that in the procedure.
