Well "ebonics" has its only language and has become mainstream here in America...mostly white teens who act black and pretend they grew up in the in hood...I dont get it.

Exactly its more of an ebonics thing. its a concatination of "you is a ho" i believe. not the best grammer.

And the songs not that good, its just a song about hos which im sure there are tons

at the risk of upsetting Ken again - "hood" = neighbourhood?? what neighbourhood is that then? The only black one I know of is Harlem (where the globetrotters are)

why would white teenagers try to be black? hasn't anyone pointed out there is a fairly obvious difference in skin tone?
They could put on make up I guess, like the Black and White minstrels (an old BBC programme)

yes col hood is neighborhood, but its refeered to as hood if its particulary bad (gangs,crime,drugs etc..)

Lol thats funny. Yea "hood" referres to the poor black neighborhoods. Can be anywhere in NYC or LA or where ever. You ever see "Boyz in the Hood" - probably not.

I have no idea. White teens like to pretend they grew up in ghettos and speak the ebonics language while most of them grew up in middle america at mommies house...its a culture thing. Mostly rap music that has glorified this "thug" lifestyle.

I've not noticed it particularly and we have a large teen population here being a university town and all.

Mind you, the girls wear low cut jeans or trousers, exposing their knickers or thong. Thats very common. (thats if they're wearing any, this is Essex after all)

Its unlikely. I would guess that at least 50% of the yanks are of non-white origin.
