In desperate need of Grid!

Hi Guys,

I posted before regarding grid but still need some info. to implement it correctly.

The Project
I need to create an application to record Job Assignments, so the tables are created (normalized thanks for all you insight).

The Plan
Initially I created a DATA ENTRY form it works fine, but I want to present all the data in a grid in all of my forms so that the user can take a glimpse of all the info this grid should be strictly locked.

The Problem
I cannot create a subform to immitate the grid since the its a single table, been trying to use MsFlexGrid but can't seem to figure out how to make it happen.

Can someone help me to create a data grid or a trick on how to immitate it.

Do you know that you can use datasheet view for subform? You can select this in form's properties under "Format" tab.

Thanks for the reply, Initially that was my design but doesn't look good since you have to switch a lot of control upon manipulating a record.

For now I just want the user to see the previous records in my DB without having the liberty to Edit or Delete any record.

You mean you want the datasheet to be read-only? No problem.

Just set the appropriate properties under Data tab for the subform... e.g.

Allow Additions=No
Allow Edits=No
Allow Deletion=No

Did you set the property already? Those would make the datasheet read-only.
