In form view, form is blank

Multi-user db, created in MSAcess 2003 and 2007. (saved in 2000 format) / DB is split, BE on network drive.
XP Professional

I created a series of forms for my db. On three of the six computers, when the form opens, the form appears to be blank. When switched to design view, all controls are on the form.

I have checked the ref. in VB window and all the ref are the same.
All the computers are using Access 2003, and are updated automatically by the same server (should be the same)
I saved a copy of the front end as 2003 format - problem remains
I have tried to create a MDE file, without success.
Compact and repair does nothing..

Any Ideas would be welcome. I will be happy to email a copy of the db if needed.

Do the users on the problem computers have the same permissions on the folder containing the BE as the others?

All users have read/write permissions to the network folder where the BE is located, and I ran the linked table manager to verify it points to the right spot..

I will dbl check, but they should have the read-write permissions ..

That was the problem - I should have verified before posting. the three only had "read" not read-write. thanks Paul
