Alas, I am not advanced enough in Access to do some of the more advanced functions in Access. I'm using 2004 version right now for a work project.

What I am attempting to do is modify a form that I did prior.

What I did prior as you can see is have a cmd button and this would link to a report that I created prior based off querries I created.

What I wanted modified was the check boxes I added below. Which would filter or create a report by office location in a similar format I created below.

Where would I start? I want to be able to do this without creating a massive amount of querries and reports for every variable.

This may sound a little wierd but I would create a combibox (hidden) with the office locations and when a location is click set the Location combi to the value that the office represents. Then add a filter to the report opening statement asking Office Location with the location of the main form.

Dayton, you've started a new thread here, but what about this one http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=264122 where a fairly thorough proposal has been presented for your consideration on this same issue?

I think that if you've already ruled out certain approaches to a solution on this issue, that should be clearly stated in your post.

Future posters on this thread, you might want to review information that Dayton has already received on this issue, and make sure you don't spend your time suggesting the same thing,

Cheers all,

Thanks Mark,

My bad, I wasn't quite sure how to approach that solution and thought that maybe I posted it in the wrong forum.

Wading through murky waters here.

Where any student needs help is precisely where their unknown begins, but that is unique for each student.

To get the most efficient help, describe exactly where your knowledge ends. Describe what solutions you think are beyond you, and so on. Describe what you know and what you don't. Then, we'll be able to offer better help, in less time.

And really: 99% of genius is persistence. Keep at it.

Cheers,
