Hi,

I've previously posted this problem but without the sample, just description, and I guess it wasn't clear enough.

The problem is with displaying the records in a subform, the "index" and "name" fields are display correctly whereas "group" and "vendor" have numbers instead of text.

It might be something simple and I bet it is, but I'm struggling with it.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Mark

O.K there are 2 solutions.
Solution1(easy one)

Go to your subform, in design view drag the field list. The only difficulty is that both your fields will appear as combo boxes.

Solution2

Subform design view, to the existing query establish relationship to tables tblvendors and tblMaterialGroups. Assign Name field from tblvendors and tblMaterialGroups to the appropirate text boxes.
