Hi

I am trying to get the formula below to work with out success. The M Summary is the sheet where the value is I want to bring back and the Current is where the cell reference is for example L68. Can anyone help!

='M Summary'!&INDIRECT(Current!$AG14)

Thanks in advance.

The syntax is simpler without a space in the name but with it it is

=INDIRECT("'m summary'!"&INDIRECT("current!ag14"))

Hope I've typed that correctly since I can't test it.

Actually, I think you want:

=INDIRECT("'M Summary'!"&Current!$AG14)

Managed to get onto Excel and test and yes both work , but the less function calls the better so obviously NBVC is correct, with that lesson in mind tested the formula on the other thread and you can obviously remove the 2 internal indirect and " associated with same.
