insert records into table

i need to upload a list of students and insert them into an existing table...goal is to assign students to a locker....tblLockers is my attempt at this task...

tblLockers has locker info in it and i uploaded an excel sheet that contained some students and then appended them to the tblLockers..the result was the originial list of lockers with the students as new records...i need the list of students to be inserted into the fields of the existing records so that each student has a locker...i have to do this several times a year ..if anyone can help me i would appreciate it...
